What people are saying about Keisa and the work she does with her company LueKaleo Inc…

  • It’s been a really lucky find for us (to know Keisa over the past 7 years) and we have brought the whole family into her fold! She has a great understanding of the way the body reacts to exercise and movement and links that with a really creative use of techniques & ordinary aids found around the house to put together a great mix of strengthening, endurance and relaxation routines. Whether remote or in person, she is alert to nuances of your movements and suggests subtle changes to make the workout more effective. She listens to you on how you are feeling on a given day and tailors the session to best suit your need & address/ avoid injuries. For those of you who need some external motivation for exercise, you will be happy to note Keisa is never one to give up on you!! She is multi-talented, has a fantastic work ethic and is above all a wonderfully grounded human being ❤️. I strongly recommend her services !

  • "My kids belonged to a performance group at a nearby dance studio. This special group of performers danced and some sang in events all over our community. Keisa took this group to the next level! She found bigger venues to perform at including Madison Square Garden! The group suddenly grew and they needed to split the group from 2 levels to 3 levels to accommodate enrollment. The revamped program fostered the aspiring dancer’s love of dance and performance by taking them back stage to Radio City Music Hall, meeting some Rockettes, aiding in dance photos/videos for high school and college applications, and for the first time they even entered a national dance competition where they were finalists!"

  • "I have worked with Keisa as a student and as an assistant for over 6 years. Keisa has acted as a mentor for me during this period of time, both professionally and personally. Keisa was one of the first dance instructors I had who didn't let me rest on my laurels. She pushed me past my limits because she knew I was capable of doing so; something I didn't know. With Keisa's help, I improved in class, and was trusted to work alongside her for certain events. I watched her in action teach at conventions, competitions, and online classes. When it was my turn to teach my own classes, I modeled my style with Keisa's. I picked up a lot of notes that I still use today to keep my students working to the best of their ability. Keisa would observe my teaching and continue to give me feedback to help keep my class improving. Personally, she has always been there for me, supported me, and guided me during my time with her. I have now moved on to college as a dance minor, and have been asked to perform at the University of Delaware Dance Minor Concert, and I have to thank Keisa for getting me to this point. Keisa is an unforgettable and outstanding teacher, and I envy those who continue to work with and under her."

  • "I had the opportunity to work with Keisa on my virtual wellness summit. I can say only positive things about the experience. She taught my participants ways to practice mindfulness at home and during a busy day. Her explanation and details had the guests so excited to try the exercises on their own."

  • “When I met Keisa, she was going to be my new boss, as she was the Manager at Next Step Broadway in Jersey City. She was warm, inviting, direct, and real. We hit it off. I could tell the studio was running like a machine and it was clear that the students loved her and the parents respected her. She was “mom away from mom” for the dancers. As I became more comfortable and starting working directly with her, I strived to soak up everything I could from her teaching style and the way she takes charge in the classroom. Not only did Keisa help curate a curriculum for the studio, she stayed on top of maintaining it while the studio owner was away. As I worked with Keisa, it was apparent that she was proactive in her work and ideas, always looking to improve the product and experience at the studio. Her organizational skills came in handy daily, but especially during costume ordering and recital time… Keisa should patent her recital system! She has her recital organization down to a science and easy to maintain package. After working alongside Keisa at Next Step Broadway for two years, she assisted me personally in my transition into the studio owner position. Keisa helped me realize my full potential when I purchased NSB and she was essential in my training, confidence, organization, and overall success in making the studio my own. Simply put, Keisa was indispensable in making the studio, and my transition into owning it a successful. I will never have enough thank yous!”w List Item

  • “The stretch and strengthen class that Ms. Keisa Parrish offers is so needed right now! From stretching our phalanges to strengthening our knees, this class offers a complete full body relaxation and restoration. What I like best about this class are the takeaways - from daily stretches to just remembering to take a moment to breathe.... Ms. Keisa provides a holistic approach to health and wellness that is greatly appreciated and very needed in today’s turbulent and often stressful world. “

  • "I reached out to Keisa based on a private matter of some aches and pains I’ve been having in my knees and ankles. As a 4-year pro basketball player such aches and pains are inevitable throughout the long seasons. We were soon on a zoom call doing stretches and exercises to unlock my hips and loosen my ankles in the morning before a long day of training. Since implementing these exercises into my daily routine, I’ve seen a significant decrease in the aches in my knees and ankles. This just goes to show the versatility of Keisa within her craft. Our one on one session was extremely informative and helpful!"

  • “Put your mind and body to work! I look forward to class each week. I feel stronger and healthier. Keisa pays attention to your needs/impairments and makes corrections so that you are doing the exercises properly and safely at home. It feels like she is in my living room with me. She gives me that added push and encouragement to get thru each rep. It’s been so great that my teen daughter started joining in. She is an athlete and finds the classes help her with her strength and flexibility. Each week, we work on a different area of the body. I highly recommend trying one of Keisa’s classes!!”

    -Cindy S. (Yoga/Pilates/Cardio Class Review)

  • “A steady paced, shaking and burning flow, in the best way possible. Clear and concise cueing that made it feel like I was in a private session and Keisa was watching my hip move back or my abs not engage. I loved it and will come back for more, often. Thank you, Keisa.”

    — Ciara F. (On-Demand Video Review)

  • “Okay..... I’ll admit, somewhere along the way I have become very uncoordinated, BUT I still love to boogie in the quiet spaces of my home. Ms. Keisa Parrish’s cardio dance class allows me to do just that while learning some new moves. There’s no judgement, just encouragement to keep moving!!! You sweat, you laugh, and you boogie to a great soundtrack from Caribbean music to African drum beats. What better way to get your heart pumping and release those endorphins!”

  • “This was the perfect workout-- Keisa is an awesome teacher.”

    — Cynthia H. (Full Body Cardio Class Review)

  • “Keisa is a very experienced and versatile trainer who excels at individual and group sessions. I find her guided foam roller sessions, coupled with the lacrosse (yoga) ball very effective in loosening up the body, increasing mobility, and correcting posture. I feel incredibly lucky to train with Keisa because she brings such precision to every activity and makes sure the body form is exactly right. It’s amazing that even on zoom, she is able to guide me with such precision. If you are looking for a total body workout, stretching, Pilates or simply deep tissue foam rolling, Keisa will be an excellent choice as a trainer. “
